Re-experiencing the music of our childhood arouses meaningful memories, often evoking whole scenarios from the most impressionable time of our lives. Join us at 7 pm on Saturday, March 29, at Lawrence Library, Pepperell, for a program of music from the Muppets, Disney, Warner Brothers cartoons, Mary Poppins, 1960’s TV shows, Willie Wonka, Charlie Brown specials, Boston Pops favorites, and John Williams themes such as ET among other beloved music from our youth. Whether you’re 5 or 75, these iconic sounds are familiar and heartwarming.
Music events are held in the intimate, smoke-free environment of the Art Gallery. Fantastic acoustics draw musicians and listeners from throughout New England. All programs are free and open to the public. Doors open at 6:30. Light refreshments are available, including coffee and refreshments provided by the Friends of the Library. This concert is funded by the Pepperell Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
Donations for PACH, our local food pantry, are welcome at all of our music events.
